What Size Turkey Do I Need?
The recommendation is 1–1.5 lbs per person. Lots of kids at your gathering? Lean toward 1 lb per child. Big eaters or looking forward to leftovers? Get a bigger bird to satisfy everyone and/or feast for days afterwards!

Fresh or Frozen Turkey?
All of our free-range birds are local and from this season's flocks so have not been stored in a warehouse for months. These could be deciding factors:
• Fresh: You can pick up right before the holiday and not worry about storing or thawing in time.
• Frozen: You can buy early and strike that item off your list. To thaw, the recommendation is 24 hours of time in the fridge for every 5 lbs of turkey.
