Movies in the Park
Saturdays: July 13 & August 10
At dusk – time shown is sunset

It's summer and we're working with St. Paul Parks & Rec to show Movies in the Park again this year. The good news: St. Paul is rolling out more activities than ever throughout many city neighborhoods.

The bad news: Parks & Rec has only so many movie screens and staff members, so they could not help us host a movie every month.

But more good news: we still have two awesome movies scheduled! Mark your calendars for these Saturday nights:

July 13 • 9:00 PM • Bumblebee

Paramount Pictures • 113 minutes • PG-13
Charlie, a teenager trying to find her place in the world, discovers the battle-scarred transformer robot, Bumblebee, in a California junkyard disguised as a Volkswagen Beetle. Bumblebee and Charlie team up to protect the world from the Decepticons in this action-packed adventure!

August 10 • 8:30 PM • Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

Sony Pictures Animation Inc. • 117 minutes • PG
Brooklyn teen Miles Morales becomes the Spider-Man of his reality, entering a multiverse where more than one can wear the mask. He meets many different versions of himself who help stop a threat for all realities in this Oscar winner. Critics loved it!

Movies are shown in Hampden Park, our namesake greenspace across the street from the co-op – a perfect place for movies after dark. So bring along a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy an open-roofed movie theater under the stars.

Plus, we will be giving away fresh popcorn made with our special healthy recipe. Come early to socialize if you like — the St. Anthony Park Community Council will also be providing some pre-film fun. Everyone in the Twin Cities is welcome!

Movies begin at dusk – AFTER sunset (the time shown). Start time depends on weather and lingering light, so come and hang out until it's dark enough. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. On movie nights the store stays open until film starts for your snack needs.
