Coco • Free & PG • Saturday August 18th • At Dusk (After 8:15ish Sunset)
Despite his family's baffling generations-old ban on music, young Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the colorful Land of the Dead. After meeting a charming trickster named Héctor, the new friends embark on an extraordinary journey to unlock the story behind Miguel's family history. Inspired by the Mexican Day of the Dead holiday, Coco's stunning visuals and touching story helped the film win two Oscars, including Best Animated Feature. (Disney Pictures; about 109 minutes)

Summer's not over – but there's only one more night for films, family & fun with Movies in the Park. It's our way to bring the community together and show off Hampden Park, our namesake greenspace across the street. Renovated in 2016, the park is a perfect place for movies after dark; you can read about the upgrades here.
So bring along a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a movie theater with an open roof under the trees & stars. Come early to socialize if you like — everyone in the Twin Cities is welcome!
Especially for Movie Nite
Savings: After 7:00 PM shoppers can take 10% off their entire purchase – up to $5 max off. So load up on movie snacks, and more! (Saturday, August 18th, 7:00–8:15 PM only.)
Free Popcorn: Plus we will be giving away popcorn in the store, freshly popped and made with our special healthy recipe.
Free Gelato: Refreshing gelato will be available in the park (while they last). Compliments of Tivoli Distributing, supplier of frozen goods including Sno Pac organic veggies & fruit.
Socialize With Board Members: Some of our board members will be meeting & greeting, and enjoying the movie with you.
Movies begin at dusk – after the 8:15ish sunset — depending on weather and light, so come and hang out until it's dark enough. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. On movie nights the store stays open until film starts.
Thanks to St. Paul Parks & Rec who brought out their amazing inflatable movie screen this summer!
Come at 7:30 because the early bird gets the…veggies?
Don't miss the fun & prizes! Come before the movie to play Produce Password, a name-that-produce game facilitated by the St. Anthony Park Community Council (SAPCC) Equity Committee.
The co-op may be small, but it's mighty full of affordable, healthy, oftentimes local produce. Volunteers in the audience will taste a "mystery produce" and win a prize if they guess what it is! We'll have free samples, fun facts, recipes, and discount offers for the audience, and we'll also vote for our favorite item. Game begins about 7:30 pm.
The SAPCC brings together residents and businesses to work on vital neighborhood interests that enhance and strengthen the character and vitality of the community. The Equity Committee addresses neighborhood disparities. One area of focus is Food Justice – seeking ways to ensure that lower income residents can access healthy and affordable foods.
